Double Click Speed Test
Measure the time interval between two consecutive clicks
What is double click speed?
Double click speed measures the time in milliseconds between two consecutive clicks. A fast double click is essential for many actions in games and applications. The normal interval is between 100 and 200 ms. Values below 40 ms may indicate a hardware problem (ghost double click) which is common in worn mice.
Tips about double clicking
- An interval of 100-200 ms is ideal for most applications
- If your mouse registers a double click in less than 40 ms, the switch may be defective
- You can adjust the double click speed in your operating system settings
- Gaming mice typically have more responsive switches for fast double clicking
