DPI Analyzer
Measure your mouse's real DPI by physically moving it across your desk
Place a ruler next to your mouse. Click and drag exactly 10 cm. Release the button when you are done.
What is real DPI and why does it differ from the configured DPI?
The DPI (Dots Per Inch) you set in your mouse software does not always match the real DPI. Sensors can have inaccuracies of ±5-15% relative to the nominal value. Real DPI is what actually affects your sensitivity. This tool measures it directly: move your mouse a known physical distance and count the pixels the system registers.
How to use the analyzer
- Place a ruler or measuring tape next to your mouse, with the starting point at the current position.
- Click in the measurement area and hold the button down.
- Drag the mouse exactly 10 cm across the surface (following the ruler).
- Release the button. The result is your real DPI.
