Destiny 2 Sensitivity Calculator & Converter
Destiny 2 uses a scale of 0.0066 degrees per count, the same as Overwatch 2, Warzone and Black Ops 6, so a look sensitivity from those games transfers 1:1. The calculator converts your look sensitivity. Aiming down sights uses the ADS sensitivity modifier, which stays as you have it. Worked example: 6 at 800 DPI equals 28.9 cm/360, which corresponds to CS2 1.8 or Valorant 0.57. Coming from Valorant with 0.5, the equivalent in Destiny 2 is 5.30.

Destiny 2 Sensitivity Reference Table
Values calculated with the Destiny 2 yaw (0.0066). Each row shows how many centimetres you need to move your mouse for a 360° turn at that sensitivity at 400, 800 and 1600 DPI, and the sensitivity that gives the same turn in other games at the same DPI.
| Destiny 2 sens | cm/360 at 400 DPI | cm/360 at 800 DPI | cm/360 at 1600 DPI | CS2 equivalent | Valorant equivalent |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| 3 | 115.5 | 57.7 | 28.9 | 0.9 | 0.283 |
| 5 | 69.3 | 34.6 | 17.3 | 1.5 | 0.471 |
| 7 | 49.5 | 24.7 | 12.4 | 2.1 | 0.66 |
| 10 | 34.6 | 17.3 | 8.7 | 3 | 0.943 |
| 15 | 23.1 | 11.5 | 5.8 | 4.5 | 1.414 |
Formula: cm/360 = 914.4 / (DPI × degrees per mouse count); in games with a linear scale, degrees per count = sensitivity × yaw. Equivalents match cm/360 and do not account for FOV or aim-down-sights multipliers.
Frequently asked questions
How do I convert Destiny 2 sensitivity to CS2 or Valorant?
Destiny 2 uses 0.0066 degrees per count. For CS2 divide by 3.33: Destiny 2 at 6 becomes CS2 1.8. For Valorant multiply by 0.0066 and divide by 0.07: 6 becomes 0.566. In reverse, Valorant 0.5 becomes 5.30 in Destiny 2. With the same DPI, the cm/360 is identical.
Is Destiny 2 sensitivity the same as Overwatch 2 or Call of Duty?
Yes, at hipfire. Destiny 2, Overwatch 2, Warzone and Black Ops 6 share the 0.0066 scale, so the same number and DPI give the same turn. If Destiny 2 only accepts whole numbers where your old game used decimals, round to the nearest value and fine-tune with DPI if needed.
Is the ADS sensitivity modifier converted?
No. The ADS sensitivity modifier scales speed while aiming down sights and is not part of the hipfire conversion. Weapon zoom also varies between archetypes and scopes, so perceived aim speed changes from weapon to weapon. Convert your look sensitivity, then adjust the modifier to taste.
What is the cm/360 of sensitivity 6 in Destiny 2?
With cm/360 = 914.4 ÷ (DPI × sensitivity × 0.0066), 6 at 800 DPI turns 0.0396° per count and needs 28.9 cm for a full rotation. At 1600 DPI it would be 14.4 cm. Each extra point of sensitivity shortens the turn noticeably at this range, so compare steps in cm/360.
Destiny 2 Technical Data
The yaw value is the angle in degrees the camera turns for each unit of mouse movement. It is the constant that makes sensitivity conversion possible: two games sharing a yaw share a scale, so the number carries over unchanged. When the yaw differs, the conversion multiplies by the ratio between them.
