Escape from Tarkov Sensitivity Calculator & Converter
Escape from Tarkov uses a community-measured scale of 0.125 degrees per count, so its sensitivity values are small: a few tenths already give a normal speed. The calculator converts the main mouse sensitivity. Tarkov has a separate aiming sensitivity for aiming down sights, and optics add their own zoom, so check both after converting. Worked example: 0.3 at 800 DPI equals 30.5 cm/360, the same as CS2 1.70 or Valorant 0.54. Coming from CS2 at 2, set 0.352.

Escape from Tarkov Sensitivity Reference Table
Values calculated with the Escape from Tarkov yaw (0.125). Each row shows how many centimetres you need to move your mouse for a 360° turn at that sensitivity at 400, 800 and 1600 DPI, and the sensitivity that gives the same turn in other games at the same DPI.
| Escape from Tarkov sens | cm/360 at 400 DPI | cm/360 at 800 DPI | cm/360 at 1600 DPI | CS2 equivalent | Valorant equivalent |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| 0.2 | 91.4 | 45.7 | 22.9 | 1.136 | 0.357 |
| 0.3 | 61.0 | 30.5 | 15.2 | 1.705 | 0.536 |
| 0.4 | 45.7 | 22.9 | 11.4 | 2.273 | 0.714 |
| 0.5 | 36.6 | 18.3 | 9.1 | 2.841 | 0.893 |
| 0.6 | 30.5 | 15.2 | 7.6 | 3.409 | 1.071 |
Formula: cm/360 = 914.4 / (DPI × degrees per mouse count); in games with a linear scale, degrees per count = sensitivity × yaw. Equivalents match cm/360 and do not account for FOV or aim-down-sights multipliers.
Frequently asked questions
Why are Tarkov sensitivity values so low?
Because its scale is large: the community measurement is 0.125 degrees per count, about 5.7 times the CS2 scale. So 0.3 in Tarkov already equals CS2 1.70. This value was measured by players, not published by the developer, so if a future patch changes the input system it may need rechecking.
How do I convert CS2 or Valorant sensitivity to Tarkov?
Multiply your sensitivity by its game's scale and divide by 0.125. CS2 at 2 becomes 0.352 in Tarkov. In reverse, Tarkov 0.3 equals CS2 1.70 or Valorant 0.536. Keep your DPI and you will have the same distance per turn in both games.
Does the conversion change aiming sensitivity in Tarkov?
No. Tarkov has a separate aiming sensitivity for aiming down sights, and magnified optics add their own zoom. The calculator converts only the main mouse sensitivity. After converting, test aiming separately, especially with variable-zoom scopes, where the perceived speed changes with magnification.
How do I calculate cm/360 in Tarkov?
cm/360 = 914.4 ÷ (DPI × sensitivity × 0.125). With 0.3 at 800 DPI you turn 0.0375° per count, which gives 30.5 cm/360. Because the scale is large, a change of just 0.05 in sensitivity shifts the result noticeably, so adjust in small steps.
Escape from Tarkov Technical Data
The yaw value is the angle in degrees the camera turns for each unit of mouse movement. It is the constant that makes sensitivity conversion possible: two games sharing a yaw share a scale, so the number carries over unchanged. When the yaw differs, the conversion multiplies by the ratio between them.
