Overwatch 2 Sensitivity Calculator & Converter

Overwatch 2 uses Blizzard's own engine, not Unreal, with a scale of 0.0066 degrees per count. That is the same scale as Call of Duty and Destiny 2, so the number carries over 1:1, and it is exactly 3.33 times larger than a CS2 number. The calculator converts your general sensitivity. Overwatch 2 also lets you override sensitivity per hero, and scoped heroes have a relative aim sensitivity while zoomed. Worked example: 5 at 800 DPI equals 34.6 cm/360, CS2 1.5 or Valorant 0.47.

Overwatch 2 Sensitivity Reference Table

Values calculated with the Overwatch 2 yaw (0.0066). Each row shows how many centimetres you need to move your mouse for a 360° turn at that sensitivity at 400, 800 and 1600 DPI, and the sensitivity that gives the same turn in other games at the same DPI.

Formula: cm/360 = 914.4 / (DPI × degrees per mouse count); in games with a linear scale, degrees per count = sensitivity × yaw. Equivalents match cm/360 and do not account for FOV or aim-down-sights multipliers.

Frequently asked questions

How do I convert Overwatch 2 sensitivity to CS2 or Valorant?

For CS2 multiply by 0.0066 and divide by 0.022, which is dividing by 3.33: Overwatch 2 at 5 becomes CS2 1.5. For Valorant divide by about 10.6: 5 becomes 0.471. With the same DPI, all three give 34.6 cm/360 at 800 DPI. Per-hero overrides are not converted.

Is Overwatch 2 sensitivity the same as Marvel Rivals?

No. Overwatch 2 uses 0.0066 degrees per count and Marvel Rivals 0.0175, so copying the number makes Rivals about 2.65 times faster. Multiply your Overwatch 2 value by 0.377: 5 becomes 1.89 in Marvel Rivals. Overwatch 2 does match Call of Duty and Destiny 2 exactly, where the number transfers 1:1.

What are per-hero sensitivity settings?

Overwatch 2 lets you override sensitivity for each hero in their hero-specific options, and scoped heroes have a relative aim sensitivity while zoomed. Our calculator converts only the general sensitivity. If you use per-hero overrides, convert each one separately with the same formula, since they share the 0.0066 scale.

How do I calculate cm/360 in Overwatch 2?

cm/360 = 914.4 ÷ (DPI × sensitivity × 0.0066). At 800 DPI, sensitivity 5 gives 34.6 cm/360. Because the scale is small, Overwatch 2 numbers are larger than CS2 or Valorant ones for the same physical turn. At 1600 DPI, 5 gives half the distance: 17.3 cm/360.

Overwatch 2 Technical Data

The yaw value is the angle in degrees the camera turns for each unit of mouse movement. It is the constant that makes sensitivity conversion possible: two games sharing a yaw share a scale, so the number carries over unchanged. When the yaw differs, the conversion multiplies by the ratio between them.
